Have you ever thought about taking your expertise beyond just managing properties day to day? I share my personal journey from property management professional to building a six-figure side hustle.

With over a decade of experience in the property management industry, I’ve overseen thousands of residential properties, handling everything from tenant relations to financial management. But after years of dedication to the field, I realised that my expertise extended beyond just day-to-day operations.

As property managers, we possess a wealth of knowledge about real estate that goes beyond the surface. We understand the intricacies of the industry like the back of our hands. But have you ever thought about leveraging that expertise into something more? That’s precisely what I did!

I realised that my skills and knowledge could be transformed into an online business or side hustle. Whether it’s property management, flower arranging, cooking, or fitness programs, any skill you excel at can be leveraged to build an online presence. And so, my journey into the world of online entrepreneurship began.

Transitioning from being an employee to an entrepreneur was no easy feat. I faced doubts, uncertainties, and plenty of late nights strategizing and learning about the online world. But armed with determination and a burning desire to help others, I took the plunge.

I recognised that many property managers and business owners were grappling with the same challenges I had faced. They lacked systems, processes, and marketing strategies. I started by offering free resources, training workshops, and consulting services to help them navigate the complexities of property management

Building a client base from scratch required grit, perseverance, and a whole lot of work. I immersed myself in online real estate communities, connected with like-minded professionals, and leveraged lead magnets and Facebook ads to grow my email list.

Today, my side hustle has evolved into a six-figure business and digital agency offering social media management and Facebook ads services. I identified a gap in the market for providing done-for-you digital marketing solutions to busy business owners and property managers.

As I navigate the ever-changing digital landscape, I’ve come to understand that success is a journey, not a destination. It requires dedication, hard work, and a relentless focus on delivering value to clients.

While there’s no magic formula for success, one thing I’ve learned along the way is to focus on solving problems for your clients. Identify a niche where you can provide specialized knowledge or skills, and don’t be afraid to put yourself out there.

So, what’s the takeaway from my journey? Success takes time, patience, and persistence. It’s a marathon, not a sprint. But if I can do it, anyone can. Remember to stay true to your vision and keep pushing forward, even when faced with challenges.
